As part of their Cornerstones ILP 'Do cows drink milk?' , K2 Blue each grew their own bean plant; giving them the opportunity to study nature and understand what a plant needs to survive and how to look after them.
K2 Yellow chose one reptile as a group then made a habitat for that reptile using natural materials such as rocks, leaves, sticks, and sand, as well as clay, glue, and paper.
K1 Blue learnt about the Maasai tribe in Africa and all the beautiful colors they wear and use in their daily lives. We aslo painted our very own African animals.
Due to the continuing number of countries being added to the ‘COVID-19’ watchlist, we have been checking the passports of every student and family members to allow us to introduce the appropriate precautionary measures. We are also continuing with temperature checks and hand sanitizing of our students before they enter the campus. Thank you to our BYIS community for your patience and cooperation.
Years 6&7 designed a spy school website as a project for their theme - TOMORROW'S WORLD. Just like any other school website, Years 6&7 4S: Super Secret Spy School website is accessible and complete with important information such as the history of the school, teachers, facilities, school calendar, year levels, admission, etc. They had a great time showcasing their super-secret spy school website to other students and teachers during the website launch.
