Kindergarten 2: Mini-beast safari
For our current Cornerstones learning project, Kindergarten 2 went on a mini-beast safari. Searching for and investigating all the different creepy- crawlies we could find.
We had great fun discovering the world of insects and bugs and are now ready to learn lots more.

BYIS officially reopened today (01 Jul-20) for make-up classes. School management made sure that social distancing and all other protective measures against COVID-19 were properly implemented.

Nursery: Cornerstone lesson "How High Can I Jump?"
The Nursery class went on a fun activity in which they were able to test their limits as to how high and far they can jump. The activity is part of the Develop Stage in their Cornerstone lesson "How High Can I Jump?"

Kindergarten 1: 'Why do zebras have stripes?'
Express Day: K1 Blue has been investigating the question 'Why do zebras have stripes?' Our express day was spent building the Serengeti and learning which part our animals called home (the water, the trees or the grassland). We also learnt about animal camouflage and how animals blend into their surroundings.
