During phonics, K2 Blue played a board game where the students selected a counter based on the first letter of their name. Next, they rolled the dice, had to count the dots on the dice, move their counter along that many spaces, and then practice their blending. We are using our ‘magic reading arm’ to sound out CVC words and blend the sounds together.
