SECONDARY 1-3 PROGRAMMES


At the secondary levels (Secondary 1 - Secondary 3), we organise our curriculum based on the 2008 Basic Education Core Curriculum (Revised Edition B.E. 2560). As we teach this curriculum, we also focus on developing students’ Soft Skills which enable them to work and communicate effectively with others. We teach students to develop soft skills that are suitable for them. For example, we allow students to explore their own interests through a variety of subjects and encourage them to practice their critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and life skills. Our goal is to prepare them for future career and education.

In addition to teaching the core curriculum, students take a variety of extra-curricular classes and have the opportunity to choose to study in clubs that they are interested in, such as Cover Dance Club, Career Club, Movie Club, Chinese Club, Japanese Language and Culture Club, Science Club, Art Club, Robotics Club etc. future.

COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH PROGRAMME (CEP)

Students in the CEP programme learn Thai and English languages in a 72:28 ratio. Thai and foreign teachers teach the core curriculum along with developing students’ soft skills. They encourage students to explore their interests through a variety of subjects and at the same time prepare them for the Basic National Educational Test (O-NET). Students will study in English for 9 periods per week. They will study with a foreign teacher for 6 periods: English for Communication and English Language Skills 4 periods and PBL 2 periods. They will study with a Thai teacher for 2 periods: English Language 2 periods. They will study in Thai in these subjects: Thai language, mathematics, science, social studies, history, health education, physical education, visual arts, occupation, music and dance. In addition to studying the core curriculum, students choose to study either Chinese or Japanese language for 2 periods per week.

ENRICHMENT SCIENCE MATHEMATICS ENGLISH AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINE OF INSTITUTE FOR THE PROMOTION OF TEACHING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (IPST)

The IPST programme is supported by the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (NSTDA) and the Office of the Private Education Commission (NHSO), which emphasizes on the students’ potential and competence in Science, Mathematics, English and Technology. Students in the IPST programme learn Thai and English languages in a 72:28 ratio. Students learn English the same amount as students in the CEP programme. However, they take different core subjects required by the NSTDA to develop their skills in Science, Mathematics, English and Technology. The goal for the IPST programme is to prepare the students to become scientists and researchers in the future, which is in line with the government’s emphasis on innovation. In addition to studying the core curriculum, students choose to study either Chinese or Japanese language for 2 periods per week.

ADVANCED ENGLISH PROGRAMME and IPST PROGRAMME (AEP-IPST)

Students in the AEP-IPST programme learn Thai and English in a 50:50 ratio. Thai and foreign teachers teach the core curriculum, along with the curriculum according to NSTDA guidelines, promoting students’ potential and competence in Science, Mathematics, English and Technology. Students develop both Thai and English proficiencies in a classroom environment where Thai and foreign teachers are homeroom teachers. In this classroom environment, students will equip with 21st century skills and be prepare for future bilingual education systems. They study English as a First Language in these subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Health Education and Physical Education. They also have the opportunity to choose to study either Chinese or Japanese language for 2 periods per week. Upon completion, students can take direct entrance exams to a standard or bilingual programme.
