JA Thailand works in partnership with the business community and educators to inspire young people to thrive in the global economy. Volunteers from the business community use JA's engaging, hands-on programmes to teach children the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Beaconhouse International Student Convention (BISC) offers a unique experience to students: an opportunity to travel, meet and engage in competition with students from all over the world. This convention includes an amazing array of sporting, art, science, and cultural activities where Beaconhouse students from various countries participate and compete on an international platform. Beaconhouse has successfully organized three editions of BISC so far, in Bangkok, Malaysia and Muscat. Thailand has been selected to host the next BISC 2024, which is scheduled to be held on 28-29 January 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on BISC 2024.
NIM is a private institution in Singapore, established in 2001. NIM offers advanced diploma courses and bachelor’s degrees in tourism and hospitality, logistics, business and engineering. NIM’s Foundation Course focuses on providing students with an understanding of business-related skills such as communication, management, and accounting skills. The Foundation Course comprises of 4 modules including Fundamentals of Management, Introduction to Economics, Principles of Accounting, and Business Report Writing, which will be taught to Upper Secondary (S4-S6) students. Students will be equipped with the necessary know-how to effectively pursue further studies in any local and international universities. After S6 completion, students will be awarded a BYS transcript and NIM certificate. Students who are interested in enrolling for their Bachelor’s degree at NIM can do so without taking an entrance exam.
Monbetsu Exchange Programme is sponsored by the Japanese government which allows BYS students to study and experience Japanese cultures at a local school in Monbetsu, north of Japan. This programme offers three exchange programmes including an online cultural exchange programme where S1-S3 students in Thailand and Monbetsu meet virtually and learn each other’s cultures, a short-term exchange programme where S1-S3 students go to Japan and visit a local school in Monbetsu for 2 weeks, and a long-term exchange programme where S5 students go to Japan and attend a local school in Monbetsu for one school year.
Ronghuai International School is our school’s partner. They offer short-term and long-term exchange programmes for our upper secondary students including 2+1 Exchange Programme, Summer Exchange Programme and offer scholarships for studying in a university in China such as Guang Xi Narmal University, Zhejiang University of Technology, and Harbin Institute of Technology, etc.
