Primary 1-3 Programmes

PRIMARY 1-3 PROGRAMMES

Our academic programmes follow the Basic Education Act of B.E 2551 (Revised edition 2017), as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. These programmes include the Global Immersion Programme, Advanced English Programme and Communicative English Programme. As part of these programmes, our teachers apply the essential elements of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in their teaching, which draw from the Buck Institute Education in Napa, California. These elements are based from a comprehensive research to help promote our students’ intellectual skills, thinking and motivation; for example, students are able to engage in meaningful and real-world projects, to find and analyse resources and information, to connect with their personal experiences and interests, to make critical decisions and to reflect on their learning by asking questions and receiving feedback.

COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH PROGRAMME (CEP)

The Communicative English Programme follows the Basic Education Act of B.E. 2551 as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. Students are equipped with 21st century knowledge and skills which focus on communication, critical thinking, team work and creative thinking. We encourage them to take responsibility for their learning and prepare them for their O-NET exams. 72% of lessons are taught in Thai. They learn English as a second language for 9 periods a week (4 periods for international teacher, 2 periods for Thai teacher, 1 period for Cambridge Talk, and 2 periods for project-based learning (PBL)). Chinese is taught twice per week.

ADVANCED ENGLISH PROGRAMME (AEP)

The Advanced English Programme follows the Basic Education Act of B.E. 2551, as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. The 21st Century Education Framework serves as a guiding structure to develop a strong foundation in knowledge, skills, and the mind-set to prepare them for entry to bilingual education in the future. Students acquire competency in both Thai and English language in a bilingual classroom environment. Each class is provided with a Thai teacher and International teachers. 50% of their lessons are taught in English as a first language, including English, Mathematics, Science, Grammar, Health Education and P.E. Chinese is taught twice per week. Our teachers deliver the project-based learning (PBL) to develop the students’ skills in communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.
