International Friendship Day

You’ve got a friend in me…

On August 2nd, the Kindergarten Department celebrated International Friendship Day. Our K3/2 class performed a wonderful friendship song about how we walk, sit, eat, play and even read with our friends, instead of alone. After that, we were shown pictures depicting different situations that may happen between friends. Some of these were: sharing toys, fighting, helping each other, and yelling at each other. As a department, we decided if each picture was showing a good friend or a bad friend. Our last activity was a fun game in which two friends were to walk around a paper while music was playing, but as soon as the music stopped, we had to put two feet on the paper. Each time we were able to do this, the paper was folded in half making each round harder. Thankfully we had our friends to hold on to and lean on for support!
